Curious. Craft-obsessed. And always up for adventure. As a writer, I’ve spent many years independently cultivating clients and working for or contracting with in-house agencies. The medical, pharmaceutical, video scripting and speechwriting experiences have been particularly rich, but I’ve also written about products and services spanning men’s suits, hotdogs, haircare, the infamous “Canwich,” candles, potato salad, the lottery, and rolling papers. Also a few articles on zebra mussels, jail food, school food, hyperbaric chambers and cleaning the whale tanks at the aquarium (thanks, MSJ degree). I’m a strategic thinker and flexible writer who enjoys establishing a brand voice but can also speak the existing brand dialect. I can grasp complicated, serious concepts (apoptosis, pharmacokinetics, disease-state awareness) or deliver a sense of fun (rolling papers and pizza trays). But enough about me. In the end, it’s always about you—who your customers are, how you want to speak to them, what you want them to know and feel. Together, we can make them dream like rock stars, ideate like Einsteins, or take up the cause of rebels. It’s up to you.
